Project Topics

1. MICROCONTROLLER BASED SPEED, VOLTAGE, CURENT MONITERING AND CONTROLLING SYSTEM USING CELL PHONE


This project describes sthe software and hardware necessary to monitor and capture in real time the speed of any rotating object and power line parameters. The position and motion or speed of the motor and power line parameter is controlled by cell phone. The various operation performed in this project are starting, stopping of the motor and to run the motor in desired speed both in forward and reverse direction and run in steps. The operations are performed by micro controller through drive circuit, which is connected to the motor.



2. MICROCONTROLLER BASED AUTOMATIC POWER THEFT IDENTIFIER


This project is used to identify the power theft by using micro controller 89C52. The line power is measured by using potential transformer and current transformer. The maximum output is fixed by the user at the time of factory closing. The micro controller senses the line power every time and gives the output to the alarm unit. If the power usage is within the limit, the micro controller unit is to off the alarm unit. If the power usage is beyond the limit, the micro controller is used to activate alarm unit.







3. AN INTELLIGENT MOBILE ROBOT NAVIGATION TECHNIQUE USING RFID TECHNOLOGY



This paper presents an innovative mobile robot navigation technique using Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) technology. The main idea is to exploit the ability of a mobile robot to navigate a priori unknown environments without a vision system and without building an approximate map of the robot workspace, as is the case in most other navigation algorithms



4. AUTOMATIC RAILWAY TRACK CRACK DETECTING VEHICLE



In this project, optical sensors are used to detect the crack in the railway track automatically and this signal is given to FM transmitter unit. An FM receiver unit is fixed to the nearest railway station. The transmitted signal is received by the receiver unit, and gives the information to the station master by alarm with indication.





5. AUTOMATIC VEHICLE OVER SPEED CONTROLLING SYSTEM FOR SCHOOL ZONE



In this project a high speed indication is given and automatic braking is applied by cutting off the fuel supply to the engine when the setup speed is exceeded. A solenoid valve, a operational amplifier circuit using LM324IC,a FM transmitter and a receiver circuit are used for this project. The FM receiver circuit is fitted in the vehicle. The FM transmitter is fixed in the colleges/school, hospitals and wherever you want the accident prevention.







6. DIGITAL LOCKING SYSTEM FOR TWO WHEELER



The main aim of this project is to lock/unlock the devices by using password. Two Wheeler automation consists of the following operation :

1. Side lock, fuel supply opens by using Password

2. Two wheeler security system.

Using a single transmitter keypad and microcontroller, we can control many appliances like side lock, light, fuel supply. Also, the product gives an audio alarm as soon as the touch plates are touched and therefore gives warning against unauthorized entry of personnel.



7.FINGER PRINT BASED LIBRARY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS



A finger print sensor is used to sense the finger print signal is giving to the control unit. This control unit is having free running counters and timers. The display is used to indicate the person details, so that we can identify the account holder in that library or Office.



8. FINGER_PRINT_BASED_LICENSE_CHECKING_SYSTEM



The objective of this project is to improve the security performance in the highly secured areas by using finger print. It is designed with Microcontroller, Finger print sensor, Arm processor circuit and EEPROM. When human places the finger on the finger print sensor, the sensor sends the corresponding data to microcontroller. Then compared with stored data if it is correct the microcontroller checks the corresponding information from EEPROM and displays the details in LCD.



9. GPS BASED LOCATION INTICATING SYSTEM FOR UNMANNED AUTOMOBILE



The objective of this project is to monitor the unmanned automobile using Global Positioning System. GPS is used to monitor the unmanned automobile position any where in the earth. GPS uses satellite ranging to triangulate vehicle position. GPS receiver receive vehicle latitude and longitude from satellite through GPS antenna. GPS receiver is interfaced with the microcontroller. Then position information signal is transmitted through GSM network or mobile.





10. MICROCONTROLLER BASED AUTOMATIC TRAFFIC DENSITY CONTROLLER



This project of an automatic traffic density controller can control the timings of four sides of traffic lights separately. It can also control the changeover from continuous traffic light mode to blinking yellow light mode (at night), and from blinking yellow light mode to continuous traffic light mode (during day).





11. PC BASED WIRELESS PICK AND PLACE ROBOT



Pick and Place Robot with remote control is our project, which deals with remote operation with the help of motorized arm. The control is done without any wire connection but be means of radio waves, like FM remote control. The focus of this project is to enable ease in operating different operation and gives emphasis on using FM waves. The FM transmitter is interfaced to the computer.



12. RAILWAYS ACCIDENT AVOIDING SYSTEM



In this project, we are developing an accident avoiding system by using IR sensors. There will be two pairs of IR sensors, one is at the one end of the gate on track, and the other one is other side. This system is to install the sensor at least 0.5 KM from the gate. When a train crossed the IR sensor, it will be sensed and given to the microcontroller(89c51). When the microcontroller receives the signals from IR sensor, it will be taking a decision to close the railway gate. Also it will open the gate when the train leaves that will also sensed with the help of IR sensor, and it will be given to the controller and then it will open the gate. The gate opening and closing can be done with the help of DC motor.



13. REMOTE CONTROLLED WEAPON SYSTEM



Remote controlled Weapon system deals with remote operation with the help of motorized arm. The control is done without any wire connection but be means of radio waves, like FM remote control. The focus of this project is to enable ease in operating different operation and gives emphasis on using FM waves.



14. UNAIDED GUIDED VEHICLE(UGV)



To reduce manpower in moving mechanisms like wheel chair, we need automation of that mechanism, which is called unaided guided Vehicle. A microcontroller is used to control the vehicle path automatically. The rechargeable battery is supplying power to the unaided guided vehicle. The power stored in the battery is used to drive the DC motor that causes the movement to UGV. The speed of rotation of DC motor i.e., velocity of UGV is controlled by the microprocessor controller.



15. SOLAR POWER GENERATION WITH AUTO TRACKING



For this project the conversion of the solar energy is done by the solar panel and the solar panel is auto tracking according to the movement of sun. The control mechanism carries the inverter, battery charger Indicator and LDR Auto tracking Mechanism.





16. SMS BASED HOME APPLIANCES CONTROL SYSTEM-WITH VIDEO CAMERA AND GPS BASED SECURITY



With the help of this project, we can control the appliances that we wish while being engaged in our office work, merely by using mobile phone. The appliances can be turned on/off with the help of software program that has been inserted inside a micro controller chip (89C52), which can be controlled through sms.



17. AUTOMATIC SPRAY PAINTING ROBOT



In this project, a micro-controller is used, which is written with a program based on fuzzy logic algorithm, which turns paint sprayer nozzle head to that direction. Two-pneumatic cylinder and solenoid valve are provided. One cylinder is for the up and down movement and another one for the rotary motion. Fuzzy logic algorithm here used is to spray the painting in the particular direction.



18. FIRE FIGHTING AGV

In this project, we use the concept Artificial Intelligence in a simpler application of fire detection. Here we use a sensor to detect fire, which sends the information to a micro-controller, which is written with a program based on fuzzy logic algorithm, which turns nozzle head of the fire fighter to that direction.



19. HOME AUTOMATION WITH SECURITY SYSTEM



Here we are introducing a system called “HOME AUTOMATION”. It consists of following arrangement.

 Automatic door opening and closing system.

 Electrical appliance control system using cell phone.

Multi device remote control is implemented using FM.



20. MULTI-DEVICE CODE LOCKING SYSTEM



The main aim of our project is to lock/unlock the devices by using password. This technique is not only applicable to appliances in home, but also to control the various industrial components. This work is done using DTMF techniques. This project has a password-based device switching circuit that stops unauthorized persons from switching on/off the devices. In order to switch on/off the device; you need to enter a correct 4-digit password via the keypad.



21. PC BASED STEPPER MOTOR SPEED CONTROLLING SYSTEM



The speed control of motor always needs manual attention. In this project the speed is controlled using PC by which flexibility is facilitated. With the help of this project, we can control the speed of the stepper motor from any place at any desired speed. The stepper motor can be run at any desired speed. The motor can be stopped at any desired instant. Additionally, motor can be run also as in stepping manner.



22. BLUETOOTH BASED HOME SECURITY SYSTEM



It consists of sensors and Bluetooth transceivers. The sensors detect the intrusion and sends corresponding information to the microcontroller through Bluetooth transmitter. The microcontroller activates the alarm.



23. SMS CONTROLLED MOVING VEHICLE



This aim of this project is to control the movement of a vehicle through sms. The instructions are sent from user side cell phone. The receiver circuit on vehicle gets this message and controls the movement of the dc motor, in effect, controlling the movement of vehicle.



24. AC-DC MOTOR SPEED CONTROLLING SYSTEM



In this project, we are using an electronic AC/DC motor speed regulator. This regulator is used to maintain the set speed of the motor constant. The speed variation due to over load, line voltage fluctuations, over voltage, surge problems etc. can be controlled and the speed is maintained constant by using this “SPEED CONTROL OF AC-DC MOTOR”. This unit can be used up to 1 H.P. A.C/D.C. Motor.



25. PNEUMATIC PICK AND PLACE ROBOT



A pneumatic system consists of a compressor plant, pipe lines, control valves, drive members and related auxiliary appliances. Pneumatic material handling system is used to move the components from one place to another with a maximum weight of 3.5 kg.



26. VACUUM CLEANING ROBOT

This project is equipped with a micro controller, motor driving mechanism and battery. The power stored in the battery is used to drive the DC motor that causes the movement to Vehicle. The speed of rotation of DC motor i.e., velocity of vehicle is controlled by the microprocessor controller.



27. RFID BASED CLASS ROOM IDENTIFICATION FOR BLIND PEOPLE



In this project we are generating RFID tags for class room identification for blind people. project we are using intelligent microcontroller is used to generate the RFID tag for the each class according to the class. It will generate unique tag no, ID and information for each class. The data is modulated using FSK modulation method and transmitted through the RF transmitter. In the receiver end the signal is demodulated using FSK technique and sends to the computer using USART driver through the RS232 port. The received data will be printed by the computer.





28. MICROCONTROLLER BASED SENSOR OPERATED PATH FINDING VEHICLE



A path finding vehicle is controlled by a microcontroller and sensors. In this project lead-acid battery is used. The lead-acid batteries output is given to the control unit. Control unit having four relays, they are connected to the two D.C motor in Forward and reverse rotation of operation. The microcontroller controls the movement of vehicle, based on the inputs from sensors.



29. SMS BASED BANK SCURITY SYSTEM



It consists of IR sensor and transmitter circuits fixed on the Bank. . IR sensor circuit is senses the any obstacle crossing on the path, it is switch ON the transmitter circuit. The transmitter circuit gives the signal to the receiver circuit and to intimate through sms.



30. SMS CONTROLLED PICK AND PLACE ROBOT



Pick and Place Robot with cell control is our project, which deals with remote operation with the help of motorized arm. The circuit can be used to remotely controlled robot electronic gadgets connected to it. The control is done without any wire connection but be means of Cell phone (SMS) techniques. The focus of this project is to enable ease in operating different operation and gives emphasis on using pulse signal.



31. MICROCONTROLLER BASED VOICE CONTROLLED ROBOT



VOICE GUIDED ROBOT which can perform actions on receiving voice commands from the user. The voice signal is given as the input in the machine. The input data is given to microcontroller (ATMEL) and it is being interfaced with stepper motor driving circuit. The motor is activated or deactivated according to the pulse signal generated by microcontroller, corresponding to the input voice.
